ALL HIS PICTURES ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE!

Reese is one of the sweetest and most loving dogs I have fostered. He is a wonderful companion, always following me to make sure he is there if I need his help. He loves to have his belly rubbed and is always happy to get kisses. In the evenings before we turn in for the night, we all snuggle on the bed together…that is a favorite thing of his. He sleeps in a crate alongside my bed and has never had an issue with going in for the night or going in for the day when I go off to work. Reese has been on some medications for a skin allergy. Since he has been with me his skin has cleared up and he is not itching as much as when he first came to me. Because of that I think he will need some specialized food. I still need to put drops in his ears twice a day, but he is very cooperative and lets me do it…especially when he knows he will get lots of attention afterward. I own a dog and a cat and Reese gets along well with both of them. He loves to chew bones and go for long walks. He is very good walking on a leash and stays close by. I do not have young children at home, but we have met some on our walks and he seems just fine with them as well. In fact, he gets a bit sad if they don’t come up to talk to him! We have met big dogs and small dogs on our walk and he has never showed any aggression towards them at all. He is just one sweet, loving dog.

Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out this application.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and your donations are entirely tax deductible.
