Boy, do we have great news for Kobi! He has been accepted into the HOPE program. The HOPE program is the "Hounds of Prison Education" and dogs with behavioral issues are incarcerated with inmates at a correctional facility where they receive intensive one on one training. UPDATE: 6/28/10 Well, I’ve been with my foster mom and dad for a little while now. Foster mom says I’m a “happy go lucky kinda guy who loves to be loved”. My foster brother and I occasionally try to prove we are each at the top of the food chain with each other, but other than the growl and bark here and there, there is no real problem. Just dogs being dogs, after all.
I’m getting comfortable with my foster family now – I take a little while to warm up, but once I do, I will follow you where ever you go. I also love to go for walks!
Young, energetic, and pretty darn cute – call me the Triple Combo!
Hi, my name is Kobi and I am kind of overwhelmed at the moment. My pal Denver and I have just come into CSAC because our mommie is dying of cancer and can’t take care of us anymore. I am worried about her and also wondering what will happen to Denver (note: Denver is being adopted) and me?
I am a young and playful guy, and like just about everybody I meet. If you enjoy going for walks, playing ball, and snuggling, then I’m your boy! You’ll also find I am very observant of my surroundings and will let you know if I hear something strange or see something odd. I am protective of my wire kennel though, so I thought I’d better let you know that I do growl a little to warn everyone not to mess with it. But, hey, a dog’s kennel is his castle, right? My foster mom says I shouldn’t go to a home with children since they are too much for me to figure out.
I could sure use a new “forever” home. I am a good boy and would bring lots of laughs and love into your life if you’d let me. Do you have room in your home and heart for me?

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and your donations are entirely tax deductible.
