Description: ADOPTED!!

Meet Quincey. Quincey lost his Human Mom to illness. His human Brothers and Sisters did not want him. So in their grief they turned him into the shelter. Imagine how scared Quicney must have felt. For so long he was loved and well fed (Quincey weighed a 42 lbs). Now he was alone in a strange place, and what is worse, Quincey is deaf.

However, through all this trauma, Quincey emerged from the shelter and into one of our foster homes a releived fella. He is sweet and friendly and a huge couch potato (no pun intended). Since Quincey has been in foster care he has lost 10 lbs! Good thing too, on his initial vet visit we realized he was in need of an ACL repair. Sadly we also realized he may not have gotten the proper care a cocker spaniel needs because he is not to happy to be at the vet office nor the beauty salon.

Since Quincey had been the star in a senior woman’s eyes for so long, we recommend that maybe another senior would remind him of what he lost. Quicney should not be around small children. As with the Vet and the Groomer, he is a bit snippy.

Please find it in your hearts to give this ole fella a furever home. He is housebroken and gets along fine with other dogs. Could it be you that finds him comfort in his later years?

If you are interesting in giving Quincey a loving home, please let us hear from you!

Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out this application.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and your donations are entirely tax deductible.
