Description:

My name is Marco. My story is a little sad however the happy ending is on it way! I was dropped off by my owner for some whatever reason. I was a big boy, so I obviously was well fed. Since being with CSAC I have lost 10 lbs... good thing because all that weight was causing a strain on my back end. It turns out I have a torn ACL and may a little knee issue. With the weight loss, and careful movement that will be just fine. Now my other problem is the sad part. I have seizures. Not sure what causes them but CSAC has maken sure that I am properly medicated so that they do not get out of control. I was adopted once, and was loved by my adoptive mom, and I even liked her cats. But she was just not able to handle the seizures. So here I am again, awaiting yet another furever home.

I know, it seems like a lot to deal with, but you know, I am such a sweet, laid back fella. All I ask is for a nice warm bed to rest in and warm food in my belly, and lots of love and compassion. I will give all right back to you.

So, anyone out there think that a boy like me could make a great companion? Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

Marco is up to date on all shots, the ALC tear has been repaired and his medication has been leveled and his seizures are few and far between.

Please find it in your heart to take him home....

Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out this application.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and your donations are entirely tax deductible.
