Description:
Hi! My name is Teddy and I traveled all the way to Maryland from Florida. Let me tell you about myself. I’m a small fellow, weighing a bit over 20 pounds. I was underweight when I first came into the group, but have been able to put some weight on in my foster home, and I feel alot better.
I’m housebroken and pretty spry for my age--I walk every day, and love to run around the yard chasing birds. I am also a great hunter of crickets--those chirping things aren’t going to get a foothold in my house, not if I can help it. I ride well in the car, and although I’m not a lap dog, I do like to lie beside you or at your feet. I LOVE my foster mom and dad and follow them everywhere; however, they have alot of other dogs in their home, and I really would like to be in a home where I could get more attention, because I love it so much.
I am very healthy and up to date on my rabies and heartworm. My color is very light buff and I just got a bath. My foster dad said I’m quite handsome and I smell good, too. I lost my previous home because my owner was moving and didn’t want to take me with her. She was moving to that place where they don’t take dog, you know the one I mean?
Anyway, I would really like to come and live with you. I hope after reading what I have said about myself that you will decide to give me a wonderful, loving home for the rest of my life. If you do, I promise I will love you forever!

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and your donations are entirely tax deductible.
